Mini-Portfolio

Hi, my name is Olivia and I am an Animation Major. I transferred from a community college to SJSU in fall 2012. Aside from all the required science classes in high school, I have taken Human Biology and Human Anatomy with a lab, which involved a cadaver. Currently, I am enrolled in Ani 113a, a painting class, and Ani 51a, a modeling class. I’m excited for both.  I am also one of the photographers for the Shrunkenheadman Club. For the meantime, I’m interested in Animation and Story. I have only had a small taste of storyboarding but I have still found the  process to be engaging, challenging, and rewarding. Despite my interests, I am still looking forward to learning how to model and improving on my painting skills.

A Gouache painting from Ani 14 (color class); this took about an hour or so.

A study of a candy in a wrapper I did during the summer of 2013, took about an hour and a half.

This clip is from Lilo And Stitch. It is the opening title sequence, and I have always liked how the movie begins. First of all, I like Chris Sanders' character designs and how they differ greatly from the normal disney female protagonists. Secondly, the music is enchanting.
